Linda Gigi Carroll is a multi-talented individual.  She is a internationally renowned artist as an illustrator of books, a highly accomplished artist in the Old Masters Style, and a Professor for many years in both the Chinese and Japanese languages and Oriental art  at the University of South Florida, Tampa University and Ecker College. 

Her mother, a native of France and an Art Professor, had a profound effect on the choice of style and medium that she has chosen for her artistic expression.  

Linda Gigi's father, a native of China of Mongolian descent, also influenced his daughter.  In Chinese tradition the arts are greatly admired and considered a part of the academic training of a scholar.

考琳达 教授   曾先后就读于纽约大学，新择西大学，雪城大学，堪培拉大学等高等学府。取得中文及日文学士学位。第二语言教学，国际贸易等硕士，博士学位。雪城大学广告插画设计硕士毕业。在南佛大学教过国画。 在美国书皮和插画设计是插画学会会员, 受到很多比赛奖赏。
